Jag has always been active, from playing soccer, basketball, table tennis and badminton from primary through secondary school. In secondary school, he was also a rock climber and on the executive committee of the Outdoor Adventure Club.

In the Army, he played for his unit’s soccer team and signed on as a professional soldier where he trained recruits. He left the Army after six years and pursued a career as a musician and live band performer. His active lifestyle continued as he started to educate himself on nutrition and working out to keep pace with the demands as an Artiste. Nutrition and workouts also have the benefit of keeping Jag trim and fit for wardrobe requirements and helped him look good in costumes.

The passion in music and performance naturally flowed to the passion in fitness and the desire to help others to achieve their fitness goals safely and lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Jag started to take up courses and practice professionally as a Personal Trainer at first during his off seasons as an Artiste and eventually learning the ropes in various commercial and boutique gyms.

His goals and priorities as a Trainer are always to build a strong foundation in Posture and Balance before setting or achieving various fitness goals so as to always be able to gain trust and satisfaction from clients/friends.
